  • I've just recently noticed that the Wayback Machine website has been "temporarily offline" for quite some time now. As such, for any links on this blog that use the archived versions of certain CBCP web pages, just use the original URL of those pages (which can be seen at the archive.org URL if you look at the address bar of your browser.). I used the Wayback Machine for those because there are times when the old CBCP website is unavailable.

Nalaman ko lang ang tungkol dito nang makita ko ang isang post mula sa Facebook page ng St. Pauls Online kung saan nagbahagi sila ng di-umano'y sipi mula kay Pope Francis. Ang sabi: "Scripture is the only true compass for our journey, and it alone is capable of leading us back to the true meaning of life amid so much woundedness and confusion." Appeal to False Authority Kabilang sa mga paboritong taktika ng mga anti-Katoliko (lalo na sa social media ) ay ang pagsasangkalan kay Rizal bilang "katibayan" na mali talaga ang Simbahang Katolika hinggil sa kung ano pa mang paksang nais nilang tuligsain. Hindi malinaw ang batayan nila sa kung bakit nila ito ginagawa. Iniisip ba nilang ang pagiging "pambansang bayani" ay nangangahulugang ang isang tao'y maituturing na katiwa-tiwalang dalubhasa sa mga aral ng relihiyon?
